New kind of food is an adventure but I will try it once.lol
I think I can cope with Turkish food, in fact I really rather like a lot of it. Cacik is a bit odd but then strained youghurt with cucumbers and added vinegar or lemon juice to liven it up is an acquired taste to say the least.
But there are plenty of other delightful goodies to gobble in Turkey and of course you don’t have to go that far to enjoy them because there always seems to be a Turkish restaurant just around the corner of most cities. Indeed I believe it’s one of the ways you can tell if a city is important if it has a Turkish restaurant around the corner.
However there are some dishes that are even beyond even my cosmopolitan feline palate and I have discovered a menu that includes most of them.
Who would eat “Vicious?” A “Shepherd Salad” is something I might have…
